On this episode of The Creative Middle Riot we interview Painter Deb Angeloff Hesterman about her journey as a career creative, her struggle with perfectionism and how she won a magazine drawing contest at the age 10.

A lifelong artist and painter, Deb has created an enormous amount of beauty. Among her accolades is winning the opportunity to be Glo Magazine’s July 2019 cover artist. Angeloff’s artwork is bursting with color, values, pattern and harmoniously balanced movement!

Art has been an important part of Deb’s life since she was a child. Earning her B.S. in Visual Communications from Ball State University and her teaching certification, she has taken many opportunities to teach art to students from Pre-School through High School and on an adult level. She especially enjoys drawing and painting and has a passion for sharing her love for making art with others so they may unlock their own personal creativity.

Here, in what may seem like the most unlikely of places, is the creative seedbed that is Fort Wayne, Indiana. It’s our hope that this little city with a lot of original talent can inspire creatives everywhere!
